Me and My Process

Photography, for me, is more than just framing an image—it's capturing life as it unfolds, naturally and authentically. I believe the most powerful moments, and the most beautiful images, are those that happen organically, without pretense. That’s why I prioritize living in the moment and encourage my subjects to express themselves freely and spontaneously. When we suspend expectations and embrace the beauty of natural light, we craft portraits that are as unique as the individuals themselves.

My journey as a photographer began in a deeply personal way. After natural disasters struck both my grandparents' and parents' homes, I began to restore the damaged prints, recording oral histories, and archiving our family's photographic heirlooms. This experience taught me that an image is far more valuable than the moment it was captured—it's a legacy, a story that holds countless memories.

Now, I dedicate my craft to helping others do the same—to document a life, make candid moments stand still, and preserve, archive, and share photographic heirlooms that can be enlarged, printed, and framed, filling hearts and walls for generations. I believe in creating portraits that are unscripted, and unstaged—capturing the essence and natural beauty of my subjects in a way that only they can express. Through playful exploration and a deep respect for the unique and finite light each day brings, I strive to turn every session into an experience where we connect, share, and create something truly one-of-a-kind.
